Celine Casey’s daughter, Vienna Brookshaw, was born with a rare birthmark called congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN), affecting only 1 in 20,000 babies. Concerned about the potential impact on her daughter’s mental health, Casey sought to have the birthmark removed.
After being denied surgery by the NHS, Casey launched a GoFundMe campaign, raising over $52,000 in just 24 hours. Unfortunately, rising hospital costs meant they needed an additional $27,000, which they also successfully raised.
Now two years old, Vienna has had the birthmark completely removed, leaving only a small scar. Casey shares updates on Vienna’s healing journey, and followers celebrate her beauty and progress.
